Festival of Flowers & Quilts

A Festival of Flowers and Quilts

Take one 18 Century classical, originally octagonal, church add some beautiful quilts and masses of flowers and you have a very colourful display to brighten your day.

A group of interested quilters have come together to organise a Festival of Flowers and Quilts in the Killin and Ardeonaig Parish Church from the 12th to the 16th of May.

There are to be an array of quilts from small pram-sized quilts and wall hangings to large king-size bed covers. The quilts vary in colour and design. The floral side of the show will be provided by some of the 50+ interest groups that flourish within the Killin Community. Entry to the exhibition is free but any donations received will be helping this historic church. There will be homebaking, refreshments, crafts and quilts for sale during the Festival.

The Festival is open from 10:00am till 5:00pm on Saturday 12th, Monday 14th, Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th and from 12 noon till 5:00pm on Sunday 13th May.

Why not make a day of it and come and see us at the Church (FK21 8UW)? You can take the opportunity to enjoy the mountains, Loch Tay and the Falls on the way.
